SpaceLoft XL successfully launched by UP Aerospace

UP Aerospace has recently confirmed to ANN this saturday that UP Aerospace had very recently successfully launched its SL-2 mission and the round-trip spaceflight of its SpaceLoft XL vehicle.

As reported by UP Aerospace, among the items that were carried aloft on this two-stage SpaceLoft XL rocket were the ashes of actor James Doohan that played the role of "Scotty" in the television series "Star Trek" and Mercury 7 astronaut Gordon Cooper.

It has to be noted that the widows of both men fired the telephone pole-size rocket from New Mexico's Spaceport America.
