The Immigrant Accountability Act of 2007 introduced by Hagel
U.S. Senator Chuck Hagel has introduced a clean “The Immigrant Accountability Act of 2007.”
Immigrant Accountability Act is the legislation that would create a merit-based point system to deal with those living in the United States illegally without any travel or work visa.
Illegal immigrants who receive enough points through the point programme of Immigrant Accountability Act would be put on a pathway to earn citizenship after 13 years.
Under Hagel’s Immigrant Accountability Act bill, no person in USA will be illegally be able to jump in line ahead of someone who has applied for citizenship legally.
