Vodafone 125 and Vodafone 225 launched – low cost mobile phones

Vodafone has unveiled its ultra-low-cost mobile phones from the Vodafone company and these competitive priced phones are targeted towards the emerging markets in order to provide alternative to the end user to choose Vodafone instead of Nokia and Motorola's low cost handsets.

Vodafone 125 and the Vodafone 225 and the newcomers from Vodafone. These two handsets are are the fruit of Vodafone's recent partnership with Chinese manufacturer ZTE Corp.

The fact is that getting into the business of handsets opens up an opportunity for the Vodafone company to develop a new revenue source at a time when mobile sales growth is slowing in many of its home markets.
