Compound developed to cure Gaucher disease

Gaucher disease is an inherited disease, a disorder known as enzyme deficiency disorder. The overall symptoms of the Gaucher disease may include fatigue, anaemia, easy bruising and a tendency to bleed.

Genzyme Corp has finally presented a real compelling data from a Phase II trial of a new oral compound that is being developed at the moment for the rare genetic disorder known as the Gaucher disease, following the trail of its blockbuster Cerezyme.
