Jean Schmidt introduces “Nuclear Waste Storage Prohibition Act” bill on nuke waste

Nuclear Waste Storage Prohibition Act being introduced by Jean Schmidt is here to ensure that no funds from the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership may be used for the creation of a permanent storage facility for spent nuclear fuel or high-level radioactive waste.

Jean Schmidt of Miami Township said she's glad Democratic Reps. Zack Space of Dover and Charlie Wilson of St. Clairsville have joined her on the bill.
