Abbott's Humira - treatment of Crohn's disease

Abbott announced that CHMP and EMEA have granted a positive opinion recommending approval of HUMIRA that is adalimumab for the treatment of severe Crohn's disease condition.

The positive opinion is based on results of three randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-center trials of HUMIRA. Humira is going to be the very first self-administered biologic for the treatment of Crohn’s disease.
