New Electric Fertilizer Injector from Amiad Filtration Systems

Amiad Filtration Systems has introduced an Electric Fertilizer Injector for use in a variety of systems. It is extremely accurate, which allows users to fine-tune their fertilizer rates to precisely meet crop needs. The EFI computer features a built-in data logger that keeps precise fertilizer application records, and that can sound alarms if air is found in the line, electrical currents drop, pumps are overloaded or injectors are blocked.

The Amiad EFI operates at line pressures up to 87 psi (6 bar) and flow rates from 0.22 to 1.19 gpm (50 to 270 liters/hour). The new EFI unit can automatically release air from the system and immediately stops application if an irrigation controller fails. The unit is compatible with a wide range of irrigation systems, it can be programmed to deliver very precise rates of fertilizer.
