Air-cooled solid-state lasers from Coherent

Coherent is offering the new product from the company which has been named as Matrix 355 series of air-cooled solid-state lasers. These new air-cooled lasers of solid state combine consistent operation with high beam quality, low noise, and offer a longer period of lifetime for extended usage.

Matrix lasers feature PermAlign component mounting technology which is the soldered form, robotic assembly methods, and long-lived components such as AAA that is Aluminum-free Active Area pump diodes. The output characteristics of Matrix 355 lasers make them suitable for precision applications in materials processing and micro-electronics. The Matrix 355-1-60 delivers more than 1 Watt of average power at a 60 kHz pulse repetition rate, while the Matrix 355-2-20 delivers 2 Watts at 20 kHz.
