A recent study regarding Avastin has come up in the medical community. This new research regarding Avastin has indicated towards the fact that Avastin has the power to dramatically improve the overall time the patients will live along with their advanced non-small cell lung cancer without witness any kind of advancement in their ailment when Avastin is given along with cisplatin or gemcitabine chemotherapy.

This outcome has been compared with the condition when the chemotherapy is given alone without Avastin added to cisplatin or gemcitabine chemotherapy.
