The future of the outer space debris

I hope you have heard about the recent news about the two satellites colliding in the outer space above the siberian region with a blast and then getting converted into tens of thousands of free floating pieces of debris in the outer space all around the earth.

This is a matter of real great concern for all human society and specifically these scientific world because it is being expected that this particular floating debris in the outer space will create a substantial trouble for all current manmade satellites present in the outer space as well as the spacelabs of all the leading countries.
