FlexDI being offered by Orbital

Orbital has launched its new FlexDI fuel system technology at the 5th International Clean Vehicle Exhibition and Forum in Beijing on October 26, 2007.

FlexDI enables engine manufactures to develop one engine family capable of handling different fuel types through changes to the fuel system. FlexDI was developed by Orbital in response to the growing need by vehicle manufacturers to utilise their same engine designs to operate on many different fuel types.

Polaris Industries is the first customer that has adapted the series production with FlexDI.
