China's Chang'e-1, the very first lunar probe of the country has completed its first orbital transfer which is in fact an another key move in its overall 2 million kilometer journey to the moon orbit. The orbiter has to undergo three accelerations in the coming week, and these will further shorten its distance to the moon orbit in the whole process.

The orbiter is planned to relay its very the first lunar picture in late November and will then continue scientific explorations for a year on the moon!
