New mobile TV service from BigPond

Telstra has launched a new on-demand television service for its third generation mobile network for users with television watching habits. The new service lets subscribers choose from a range of 25 television programs on the mobile network.

Scheduled programming includes news, sport and titles such as South Park, The Chaser's War on Everything, Jackass and SpongeBob Squarepants. BigPond has also commissioned the Australian production of two specially "made for mobile" programs. The service will allow viewers to pick chapters of the various programs or alternatively download entire programs.
