A8Sr Notebooks launched by Asus

Asus has launched this new A8Sr note book with a 14-inch form factor and discrete graphics option. The slim and lightweight A8Sr laptop from Asus will be based on Intel's Core2 Duo processor and will be the world's first notebook series to utilize ATI's next generation Mobility Radeon HD2400 GPU. This notebook means serious performance in a small size.

The A8Sr notebook is the first mainstream notebook to feature the latest discrete GPU solution from ATI (now AMD) camp. Incorporating ASUS's Splendid Video Intelligence Technology, the A8Sr will integrate different multimedia data sources to reduce noise and conversion rate for a sharp display. A8Sr deliver smooth and professional performance with current and future 3D-intensive applications and games.

The A8Sr also provides Bluetooth 2.0 EDR–an enhanced data rate that transmits three times faster than the standard Bluetooth, for increased connectivity and synchronization between digital devices.
