FDA warns on Propofol side-effects in patients

The FDA of USA, that is the United States Food and Drug Administration has recently published a warning regarding the medication Propofol which is infact a very a short-acting intravenous anesthetic agent that is being used in the medical community - which is being marketed in the marketplace by the pharma company which is known by the name of Teva Pharmaceuticals where the company markets this drug mainly directly to clinics and hospitals throughout the country of USA.

FDA has mentioned that an examination of Propofol has been done by the FDA themselve and they have examined the overall ampoules of the Propofol drug that is used on patients that have been suffering with its side effects. But all of the conducted tests found no kind of evidence of bacterial infestation or toxins in the body of the patients that were given the drug Propofol .

It has been recommended to the doctors to follow all the current storage as well as usage directions for Propofol very carefully and then report any kind of unusual symptoms found by the use of Propofol.
