Samsung has launched the new 64-GByte SSD for laptops and consumer electronics of today's age and times that consists of 64 eight-Gbit single-level cell flash memory chips which are actually made at the 51-nm process node. These chips are here to revolutionize system storage on Laptops.

Samsung has informed that these SSD are here to improve battery life by up to 20 percent in all kinds of notebooks and this is in contrast to the overll hard disk drive performance.

Samsung also informed the marketplace that its mass production of these new 64-GByte SSDs chips makes it the true largest producer of these high-capacity SSDs throughout in the world.
