Zimbra-powered 'SmartZone' from Comcast

Comcast Corporation in the United States has recently announced that it will integrate its e-mail and voice messaging systems and services into a full new Web-based communications center called SmartZone.

SmartZone, the new integrated communication system from Comcast will allow Comcast’s 12 million high-speed Internet subscribers to access their voice mail servers and e-mail mailboxes from the same single online platform, with instant messaging and an interactive address book as the additional value added services.

Comcast has plans further to eventually integrate SmartZone with its own television service and its Pivot mobile phone service that Comcast provides.
