WisconsinCare program by Governor Jim Doyle

The Governor and lawmakers have unveiled plans to replace to the state's SeniorCare program.

The Governor says WisconsinCare would be funded with the same $128 million he budgeted for SeniorCare, along with federal funds.

WisconsinCare will still need legislative and federal approval. Leaders from both parties joined the Governor in announcing the plan.

Doyle says the program will also provide for a smooth transition as SeniorCare ends.
