World-Beating Electric Van from Smith Electric Vehicles

Smith Electric Vehicles, has declared the launch of its latest world-beating model Edison.

Edison is based on Smith's latest battery and power train technology, housed in the instantly-recognisable Ford Transit shell.

The new green van called Edison is capable of running at 50mph and a range of up to 150 miles on a single battery charge enough to do a casual day travel. And even running that much, the van will still be providing up to 1,500kg of payload.

Edison from Smith electric is the only zero emission vehicle with a GVW of under 3.5t to offer these performance capabilities.
