Information about Cancerbackup

Cancerbackup is a national charity in UK that addresses the sphere of providing information on all types of cancer to cancer patients as well as everyone as part of the world.

All Cancerbackup services from the Cancerbackup non-profit charity are offered completely free to cancer patients, their relatives and friends.

The Cancerbackup chrity receives 54% of its funding from individuals as donations, 11% from charitable trusts, 5% from grants, 14% from companies, 2% from investments and 14% from its trading company. Pharmaceutical companies contributed 9% of the total 2005/06 income.

Cancerbackup Centres can be found in Charing Cross Hospital, Nottingham University Hospitals, St Bartholomew's Hospital, The Christie Hospital, the London Clinic, Ipswich Hospital, Coventry's University Hospital and Jersey.
