1080p Plasma HDTV from Panasonic

Panasonic 58-inch 1080p Plasma HDTV and 1080p Plasma HDTV 50-inch flat-panel sets hit the market. These plasma HDTVs can display 1080p High-Definition video.

Panasonic also offers 65-inch ($9,999) and 103-inch Plasmas ($69,999) that can display 1080p.

The Panasonic TH-58PZ750U 58-inch set will cost $5,499 and will be available in June. The TH-58PZ700U, another 58-inch model with 1080p, will be available in April for $4,799.

The TH-50PZ700U 50-inch model will also be available in April and will carry a suggested retail price of $3,499.
