Salty Cystic fibrosis - Faulty gene causing Cystic fibrosis in humans

Cystic fibrosis has been found to be caused by the presence of a single faulty gene inside human body that controls the overall movement of salts inside human bodies.

If there is a baby that has been born with the ailment of cystic fibrosis, then both the parents must have the same faulty gene inside them and they must be carriers themselves of that faulty gene that causes Cystic fiborsis .

Cystic fibrosis can be detected by a test that involves simple mouthwash procedure.This mouthwash test for cystic fibrosis can be taken by anyone so as to know if the person is a carrier of Cystic fibrosis or not.

When both of the parents are the carrier of that faulty gene that causes cystic fibrosis, all children that are born out of those parents do have 25% chances of having the same disease in themselves as well.
