Garlic - aid to cystic fibrosis patients

Matter of high importance for cystic fibrosis patients as researchers have identified that garlic does help prevent a very common kind of infection in the cystic fibrosis patients. The most important thing for cystic fibrosis patients to consider is the fact that the infection that researchers have found to be preventable is actually fatal.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the most common causes of chronic infection in cystic fibrosis patients. Garlic capsules can disrupt the communication system of the pathogen Pseudomonas to prevent illness from taking hold.

The garlic components inhibit a bacterial communication system called quorum sensing. This enables preventing of acute illness in children and all people that are affected by Cystic fibosis.
