Authenticity of social video publishing platforms

We got youtube, we got google videos,,,, and then we got thousands of video sharing web sites and free platforms. Now how's gonna verify and confirm the authenticity of the video content that's shown and shared on these video platforms? Isn't all this a realworld massive breakdown of copyright laws and laws that govern authenticity of content and information that's shared and broadcasted to public on a massive scale?

Anyway, for now, time for us to witness the success of these massive platforms that shoot millions of gigabytes of data per month showing millions of video clips throughout the world! Cheers!
