Myspace changes policy on Data Availability

Recently came to know about the new developments which are taking place at Myspace. There was a new news regarding the content distribution strategy and policies which are put into force by Myspace.

Came to know that MySpace recently made a core policy change to its Data Availability for other networks .

Before this policy change, any of the third party service providers in the marketplace were not permitted to store any MySpace user profile information on their own infrastructure. The third party service providers were simply requesting all the information from MySpace and were displaying the information on their websites.

But now myspace has made this policy change and now the third party networks will be allowed to cache and store the profile information of users for up to 24-hours.
