Amelior ORTracker 2.0 from Patient Care Technology

Patient Care Technology Systems has introduced in the marketplace the second generation of its automatic tracking software for perioperative departments. Amelior ORTracker 2.0, which is an automatic patient and asset tracking system, has been created in order to provide an expanded scope of workflow automation support tools within a new user interface.

This new automatic tracking software enhances patient care throughout the perioperative department by serving as a centralized communication portal integrating data from real-time locating systems, the surgery scheduling system, and department communication systems such as nurse call and wireless telephony.

Patient, staff and asset location data are captured by integrating with a real-time locating system. Amelior ORTracker 2.0 is compatible with all major locating technologies including ultrasound, infrared and Radio Frequency-based systems.
