Heavy alcohol drinking in college – cause of heart attacks

College-age students that drink and take in lot of alcohol heavily may increase their own risk for future heart diseases and heart attacks and strokes.

These college students may be preparing themselves up in the negative direction for an increased risk for cardiovascular disease and heart failures at the later age.

If high CRP levels are recognized at an early age such as during or later to college lifetime period, the person has a chance to make healthier lifestyle choices for the later stage and ages of one's life.

While moderate alcohol intake has been found to to have some health benefits in the longer run, heavy and binge drinking should be avoided during the college life or at any stage of one's life.
